Independent Thinking Magazine
I believe this is an excellent example of the difference in branding between Char-Broil and Oklahoma Joes. While both brands are owned by the same people, their product managers work side by side, and their creative materials are designed by the same people, both brands have very distinct voices.
Mid-States Magazine
This is an exciting ad, because it was the first announcement of the new Oklahoma Joe’s pellet grills! Unfortunately, the engineering team was still working hard to build and test the product, so we didn’t have any real pellet grills available to photograph. It’s challenging to announce a grill you don’t have, but with some photo manipulation I was able to make the 3D models appear to be lifestyle images.
Hearth & Home Magazine
This is an advertisement of Saber’s exhibit at Hearth, Barbecue, and Patio Expo. Product Managers provided a lot of copy to communicate the benefits of the brand, but by breaking up the text with lifestyle images we were able to make it less overwhelming for readers.
